The Funchal City Council will carry out an environmental awareness campaign during the MEO Sounds of the Sea festival, which takes place on September 4th and 5th. The campaign will take place at Santa Catarina Park.
The Funchal municipal authority calls on festival-goers not to drop cigarette butts on the ground during the event. The municipality also asks that participants correctly use the trash bins available at the venue.
The MEO Sounds of the Sea festival is organized at Santa Catarina Park, one of the main green spaces in the city of Funchal, in Madeira. This is not the first time the city council has promoted environmental awareness actions at large-scale events held in this park.
