Sebrae-SP is participating in this year's edition of the Atibaia Flowers and Strawberries Festival with the "Atibaia com Origem" project. Supporting rural producers is one of the event's missions, and the agency's participation aims to expand local strawberry producers' contact with the public.
Four booths will be made available by Sebrae, located near the entrance of the fair, on the left side of those accessing the event, identified as "Atibaia com Origem". The objective is to create space for the dissemination and commercialization of local production.
The project is part of work developed by Sebrae to support the obtaining of the Geographical Indication (GI) seal for Strawberries. This recognition is granted by the National Institute of Industrial Property (Inpi) and can contribute to differentiating and adding value to the product in the market.
The initiative is part of a broader strategy of the festival and Sebrae, aimed at strengthening and recognizing Atibaia's strawberries. The experience seeks to expand producers' space in the market and help them develop their businesses.
