PS wants 'strong and progressive' political project in the Azores

The Socialist Party defended the need for a "strong and progressive" political project for the Azores, in the context of the celebrations of 50 years of regional autonomy. Berto Messias was the central figure of this proposal, presenting a vision for the political future of the archipelago.

The project proposed by Berto Messias is based on two fundamental principles: knowledge and good governance. These pillars were presented as essential for the sustainable development of the autonomous region.

During his speech, Berto Messias warned about difficulties faced by the region, acknowledging the challenges the Azores face. However, he made a point of highlighting the "merits of the Azorean people" as a positive element and deserving of recognition.
