The Generalitat is investing over 60 million euros in aid to modernize the agricultural sector and attract new farmers to the region. The main objective is to strengthen the countryside of the Valencian Community.
The Minister of Agriculture, Water, Livestock and Fisheries, Miguel Barrachina, presented the different support lines during a meeting with the main heads of sector organizations.
Among those present were Carles Peris, general secretary of La Unió, Cristóbal Aguado, president of AVA-Asaja, and Enrique Bellés, director of Cooperatives Agro-alimentàries de la Comunitat Valenciana.
These aids aim to modernize the agricultural sector and make it more attractive for new generations of farmers in the Valencian Community.
