Young person detained for suspected rape of 9-year-old sister

The Setúbal Criminal Investigation Department of the Judicial Police detained a man aged 18 outside of flagrante delicto, on suspicion of raping his sister, a 9-year-old child. The detention was carried out by the specialized unit of the PJ that operates in the Setúbal region. The young man was captured outside of flagrante delicto, which means he was not detained at the exact moment of the crime. The victim is a minor, being only 9 years old, and has a family relationship with the suspect, being his sister. The case involves a crime of a sexual nature against a child, which motivated the intervention of the Judicial Police.
