The Lisbon Fund purchased the Bessa Stadium and the respective Boavista sports complex for 33 million euros. The deal comes after the rejection of a previous offer of 25.35 million euros, which had been submitted through an online auction.
The proposal now accepted by the Lisbon fund has already exceeded the minimum value set for the sale of the property. The document with the offer is in the hands of the club's insolvency administrator, who is responsible for managing the sale process.
Before it can be completed, the sale needs to be approved by Boavista's creditors. The club is going through an insolvency process, which explains the need to sell its most valuable assets, including the stadium and sports facilities.
