European Union sends humanitarian plane to Nepal with 82 tons of essential goods

The European Union sent a humanitarian plane to Nepal with 82 tonnes of essential goods to respond to the emergency situation in the country.

The European executive also announced that it will make available another 500,000 euros in humanitarian aid to support emergency teams on the ground.

This assistance comes in the context of a humanitarian crisis in Nepal, for which the European Union mobilised material and financial resources through its civil protection mechanism.
