Environmental Awareness Campaign by the Funchal City Council Comes to MEO Sounds of the Sea

The Funchal City Council will carry out an environmental awareness campaign during the MEO Sounds of the Sea festival, which takes place on September 4th and 5th at Parque de Santa Catarina. The council calls on festival-goers not to drop cigarette butts on the ground and to correctly use the available bins at the venue.

This action is a continuation of the municipal council's previous efforts regarding environmental awareness during events. The council has already carried out similar campaigns at the Funchal Summer Opening, Funchal Jazz, International Youth Day, and Funchal Summer Fest.

The operation results from an ongoing partnership between the Funchal City Council and the festival organization, in order to promote more responsible behavior among the event's participants.
