Alcobaça now has a new Portuguese vodka, Casanova Vodka, which was recently launched on the market. This spirit is produced in the Alcobaça region, using rice from Baixo Mondego as raw material.

The vodka is produced by Adega Lemos Figueiredo, a Portuguese company behind the Casanova brand. The use of Baixo Mondego rice gives the drink a regional and Portuguese character.

The entry into the vodka market represents for Casanova a diversification of its portfolio, which until now was more associated with gin. This move marks the brand's entry into a different category of spirits.

Casanova Vodka seeks to establish its own differentiated profile, with its positioning associated with the Atlantic coast. This identity aims to distinguish the drink in the competitive vodka market.
