Europe faces significant vulnerabilities against the Russian strategy, with Vladimir Putin systematically seeking to discredit the European Union and NATO, an objective that, according to experts, is being achieved with some success. This situation undermines the cohesion and credibility of European and Euro-Atlantic institutions.
Maria João Tomás spoke about the European rearmament process and the urgent need for the European Union to consolidate its strategic autonomy. The specialist emphasized that Europe must be prepared to face a hybrid war with Russia, which includes cyber threats, disinformation, information manipulation, and other tactics aimed at destabilizing European countries.
