José Ivo is the guest who opens the 5th season of LusoLab, a podcast of the Portuguese Diaspora Council in partnership with SAPO.

José Ivo currently holds the position of Honorary Consul of Portugal in Houston, in the United States. Previously, he worked for more than two decades as an executive at Bechtel, a well-known international company.

In the episode, José Ivo shares advice from his life and career experience. In particular, he says that if he could meet the 18-year-old José Ivo, he would tell him to have more patience in decisions.

LusoLab is a project resulting from a partnership between the Portuguese Diaspora Council and SAPO, serving as a platform to give voice to the Portuguese community spread across the world.
