Iran has updated its so-called "blacklist" to include 50 countries, in a measure related to the Strait of Hormuz.
The Strait of Hormuz is a strategic waterway through which a significant portion of the world's oil passes.
There are reports that Iraqi commercial ships can cross the strait with much less difficulty when compared to oil tankers from other countries in the Gulf.
The update to the Iranian blacklist comes in a context of tensions in the region related to control and navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
