The association Pais em Rede, after gaining visibility through a journalistic piece by DIÁRIO about the work of the Funchal Nucleus, now launches the podcast "Stories in Network". This initiative was created with the aim of giving voice to families of children and young people with associated diagnoses, seeking to raise awareness of their experiences and challenges.
The podcast consists of five episodes and is hosted by Laura Romeira and Carolina Andrade, both educational psychologists. The two hosts are also facilitators of the Parent Workshops at Pais em Rede, which gives them direct experience in supporting these families.
In each episode, a guest mother is invited to share her experience as a mother of a child or young person with a diagnosis, offering personal and unique perspectives on the daily life and experiences of these families.
The initiative emerges as an extension of the work already developed by the association, seeking to create a space for sharing and reflection that allows families to feel heard and represented, while raising awareness among the general public about the realities faced by these families.
