The Local Health Unit of Médio Tejo (ULS Médio Tejo), through the Community Care Unit of Abrantes (UCC Abrantes), developed caregiver training sessions in several localities of the region. The initiative was carried out in partnership with the Local Social Development Contract – 5th Generation (CLDS 5G).
The training actions took place in the parishes of Abrantes, Bemposta and Pego, covering different communities of the Médio Tejo territory.
The main objective of the initiative was to support professionals who daily assume the responsibility of caring for people, providing them with tools and knowledge to improve the quality of care provided.
This action is part of the activities of ULS Médio Tejo to strengthen community-based responses, with the collaboration of local entities for its implementation.
