Beja: Castle of the city hosts event dedicated to wines from the municipality

The municipality of Beja will promote on the 11th an event dedicated to the wines of [里斯], called "Wines of Beja". The initiative will take place at the castle of the city, capital of the district of the Alentejo region.

The event will bring together local wine producers, enthusiasts of the drink and visitors interested in learning about the wine offer of the region. The municipal council is the promoter of the initiative, in partnership with the Company for Development and Infrastructures of Alqueva (EDIA).

The municipality of Beja considered wine as a strategic product for the economic and tourism development of the municipality, highlighting the importance of the wine sector for the local economy. The event at the castle aims to promote the producers of the region and introduce their products to the public.

Madeira tries today to place heritage sites in the final of the 7 Wonders

Madeira participates today in the national semi-final of the New 7 Wonders of Portugal, which takes place at the National Palace of Sintra, with seven candidates representing the Region in different categories.
