Tomar presents Autism Academy with 128 actions planned for 2027

Correio do Ribatejo4 September 2026 at 11:06

An academy dedicated to awareness, training and support for families in the area of autism will be presented in Tomar on September 12. The presentation will take place during a solidarity initiative, according to what the organization announced today.

The project plans to develop 128 actions throughout 2027, covering various areas of intervention related to autism.

The idea is to transform the mobilization that was created around the Solidarity Trail for Autism into a permanent response. The aim is for this response to be maintained over time in the territory of Tomar and Médio Tejo.

In this way, the academy hopes to institutionalize and sustain the efforts that were initially mobilized through the solidarity trail event, creating lasting support structures for families and individuals affected by autism in the region.
