Vicentina opens contest to fix population, create jobs and modernize commerce

The Vicentina Association opened a public contest to support business investment with the objective of creating employment, enhancing rural tourism and strengthening local commerce. The contest has a budget of 550 thousand euros and runs until November 26.

The funds are intended for the acquisition of new equipment and physical adaptation or modernization of facilities. The contest is aimed at natural or legal persons classified as micro, small or medium-sized companies with projects to be carried out in the GAL intervention territory.

Interested parties can obtain technical support at the offices in Lagoa, Vila do Bispo and Bensafrim, as well as at the Parish Councils of Portimão municipality and at the Municipal Library of Silves. More information is available on the GAL Vicentina Adere 2030 website.

The notice falls under typology D.1.1.1.3, dedicated to investments in diversification, commerce and services, within the scope of the Leader approach of PEPAC, the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy.
