The Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) made available more than eight thousand spots in free in-person graduate programs for basic education teachers in the public school system nationwide. The selection processes were announced in a unified manner on Wednesday (the 3rd) on the Formação Mais Professores Portal, with the objective of expanding the reach of information about the available spots for qualifying in-service teachers.
The notices, published mainly between August and September, offer approximately seven thousand master's and doctoral spots distributed across various areas of knowledge. The spots include 244 in Sociology, 480 in Physical Education, 919 in Languages, 719 in Physics, 385 in Arts, 324 in Philosophy, 702 in History, 288 in Chemistry, 1,848 in Mathematics, 572 in Biology, 130 in Technological Education, 75 in Literacy, among other areas.
