Former American Governor Arrested After Refusing to Pay Child Support

The former governor of Kentucky, Matthew Bevin, 59 years old, was arrested on Thursday after refusing to pay child support to his son, Jonah Bevin. The Republican, who governed the American state between 2015 and 2019, disobeyed court orders and was detained on a film set after Judge Angela J. Johnson issued a warrant. The magistrate from Jefferson County Family Court had ordered Bevin to submit documents detailing his income and assets to determine the child support amount, but the politician had been repeatedly ignoring the demands since 2025.
