The Association of Voluntary Blood Donors of Portalegre celebrated 36 years of activity this Saturday. The institution is dedicated to promoting blood donation and ensuring blood reserves in the Portalegre district.
Paulo Cardoso, spokesperson for the association, was present at the celebrations and stated that the date symbolizes the continuity of the dream of the institution's founder, António Eustáquio.
The anniversary also represents more than three decades of continuous work in raising awareness and mobilizing blood donors in the region.
