The Rock in Rio Brasil 2026 festival kicks off today in Rio de Janeiro, starting seven days of music and entertainment in the Brazilian city. The event takes place on September 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13, occupying the Olympic Park as the main venue for activities.

SAPO, a Portuguese media platform, will be covering all seven days of the festival, bringing updates and complete coverage of the event. This Portuguese media brand will be present throughout the entire event, which returns to the calendar of major international festivals.

The Olympic Park, built for the 2016 Olympic Games, thus welcomes back one of the world's largest music festivals. Rock in Rio remains one of the most important cultural events in Brazil, attracting international artists and audiences from various parts of the world.
