Filipa Leal is a Portuguese journalist, poet and writer, who finished primary school already imagining herself as a writer. She graduated in London and throughout her career has published 16 books, including short stories, film scripts and plays. Humor, fine irony and shadow are two facets very present in her poetry.
On television, Filipa Leal presented several literature programs on RTP, such as "Nothing Like Dante" and "The Little Library". This activity in the media complements her creative work as an author.
