The Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave (UPCA) will welcome new students with an integration program called "Dia i", which takes place on different dates depending on the type of course. On September 14, undergraduate students will be welcomed, and on September 28, students from Higher Professional Technical Courses (CTeSP).
Undergraduate students will be received at the Barcelos Campus, at the Barcelos Center where the School of Design operates, and at the Guimarães Campus. Students from CTeSP will be welcomed at the locations where their respective courses operate, distributed across various campuses and poles of the institution, including Braga, Famalicão, Esposende (LISA), Guimarães (Avepark) and Vila Verde.
The program will take place during daytime and after-work hours, allowing participation from students who combine their education with professional activity. Throughout these two days, new students will meet school directors, course directors and first-year lecturers, as well as hear testimonies from students in more advanced years.
UPCA emphasizes that the program is oriented towards direct contact with colleagues, lecturers and spaces, with the objective of providing students with essential information for their first year at the institution. The program also includes the "Showcase Being UPCA", an initiative that will present new students with the services, units and support available throughout their academic career.
