Bassist Michael Formanek presents the album "New Digs", a work that results from a musical collaboration developed in Portugal. Formanek, an American musician, found in Portuguese territory the inspiration and partners to create this new musical formation.
The album was recorded in septet format, bringing together seven musicians in a configuration that allows for exploring different sonorities and interactions between instruments. This expanded formation provides a rich and diverse sonic space for the development of the compositions.
