The latest UN report leaves no doubt: the world has very few possibilities of avoiding the 1.5°C barrier of additional global warming since the Industrial Revolution. The forecast is that this limit will be reached in 2030.
This was the limit that had been established by the Paris Agreement to keep humanity within margins with a minimum of climate safety. All experts agree that reaching this level of warming will not represent the apocalypse, but they warn of the need to do everything possible to try to avoid this increase.
If this limit is reached, experts recommend that it be reversed as quickly as possible. Each additional tenth of a degree will intensify the negative consequences on humanity.
