Fuel prices set to soar next week

Fuel prices are expected to rise significantly next week, according to estimates from the Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP). Diesel per liter should rise by 15 cents, while gasoline risks an increase of 12 cents per liter.

If the forecasts are confirmed, the average price of diesel should reach 2.169 euros per liter and gasoline should reach 2.142 euros per liter.

The ACP's estimate takes into account oil prices as of Thursday's market close. The forecast does not yet include any adjustments to the discount granted by the Government on the Excise Duty on Petroleum Products (ISP).
