In the upcoming chapters of "Por você", Juarez, played by Milhem Cortaz, is threatened by Zé, played by Ângelo Antônio. The street vendor hides illegal car parts in his house, pressured because the car involved in the accident that killed Juli, played by Lucy Ramos, belonged to the mechanic and was destroyed.
Scared by the situation, Juarez thinks about moving from Vila Maravilha with his wife, Iara, played by Noemia Oliveira, and his daughter, Dalila, played by Lívia Silva. However, the two believe the family man is just joking when he mentions the desire to leave the community.
An event terrifies the family: the house is completely ransacked. While Iara is comforted by Bela, played by Sheron Menezzes, and by his daughter Dalila, Juarez is relieved to notice that Zé's parts are still in their hiding spot.
Juarez confronts Zé, and Próspero, played by José de Abreu, warns his friend about the mechanic, who has shady business dealings in the locality. Zé again threatens the street vendor and offers him money. Determined to protect his family, Juarez puts himself dangerously on top of an overpass.
