The samba-enredo competition that the Special Group schools will bring to Sapucaí reaches the final stretch starting this Friday, with the decision at Portela. According to the established calendar, the last to choose their official hymns will be Viradouro on the 19th and Grande Rio on the 20th.

Among the names competing are Moacyr Luz, Sandra Sá, Arlindinho, Diogo Nogueira, Martinho da Vila and Anitta, guaranteeing greater visibility to the competition. The group of competitors also includes figures well known in the carnival world, such as Wanderley Monteiro and Paulo Cesar Feital.

Anitta entered the dispute for Grande Rio right after her name began to appear as a probable replacement for influencer Virgínia Fonseca in the drum queen position. The funk diva signs a partnership with Arlindinho, who is also in the final of the dispute.

Gaby Mendes was mentioned as the first drum queen of Mocidade coming from the passistas wing. The City Hall opened a registration deadline for street blocks interested in parading in next year's carnival.
