For this Friday, the combination of heat, mainly in the western part of the South region, with the influence of a meteorological trough should favor the occurrence of heavy rain in Santa Catarina and Paraná. The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued a yellow warning of potential danger for storms in part of the states of the Central-West, Southeast and South of Brazil.
A moisture channel establishes itself over these regions and contributes to the transport of heat and humidity, favoring the formation of storms. The precipitation can come accompanied by showers, thunderstorms, wind gusts, hail and lightning.
There is also a possibility of isolated rain in the Porto Alegre region, in Rio Grande do Sul. In the gaucho state, the trend is for more localized rains in the extreme north.
