The national president of the PSD, Gilberto Kassab, denied any involvement in negotiations with former banker Daniel Vorcaro and classified as "fanciful" and "bad-faith action" the accusation that he would have participated in an agreement involving donations to political campaigns.
According to reporting by the UOL portal, Vorcaro states in a proposed plea deal that the R$ 5 million donated to the campaigns of Tarcísio de Freitas and Jair Bolsonaro, in 2022, would have originated from a bribery negotiation. Tarcísio received R$ 2 million and Bolsonaro, R$ 3 million, in donations made by Fabiano Zettel, Vorcaro's brother-in-law and investigated in Operation Compliance Zero.
Vorcaro states that the amounts would be "financial counterparty" after an alleged "improper arrangement with Gilberto Kassab" for the maintenance of Credcesta in the Tarcísio government. A PF investigation also revealed a friendship relationship between Governor Cláudio Castro and Ricardo Magro, owner of Grupo Refit.
Delegator Andrei Rodrigues defended being "very positive" to remove delegators from the offices, in reference to changes in the structure of the investigation.
