The University of Coimbra created a new service considered unprecedented in the Portuguese university context, dedicated to combating student isolation. The service was integrated into Ponto UC, an existing structure at the institution.
The new program has 15 partners and offers personalized pathways adapted to the needs of each student. This individualized approach aims to specifically address students' integration and well-being challenges.
According to UC, this initiative represents an innovation in the university landscape, seeking to create support mechanisms that help students establish connections and feel more integrated in the academic community.
