Nikolas admits contacts with Vorcaro, but denies proximity and receiving money

Federal Deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) admitted to having maintained contacts with Daniel Vorcaro, founder of Banco Master, but denied having received money or signed contracts with the banker. In a video published this Thursday, the parliamentarian stated that he never met Vorcaro in person.

Nikolas contested the information that he would have called the businessman "lindão" in one of the audios disclosed by the ICL portal. According to him, Vorcaro's contact was sent to him by pastor André Valadão, a friend of the banker, and was saved on his phone as "Dani Vorcaro." For this reason, the deputy said he believed the businessman's first name was Dani.

The article also mentions behind-the-scenes details of the crisis involving the Master case. Vorcaro's lawyer did not clarify about the orders nor showed receipts for custom-made suits visited by Mendonça. Amid the crisis, Justice Gilmar Mendes, of the STF, defended the removal of Federal Police delegates from the Court's offices.
