Deputy Nikolas Ferreira admitted having asked banker José Augusto Vorcaro for help, but stated he did not receive "a single penny" from him. According to ICL Notícias, messages obtained by the investigation show that Ferreira asked the banker for help to unlock assets of his lawyer.

The parliamentarian also reportedly apologized for a publication that questioned the presence of authorities at an event sponsored by Master, a brand linked to Vorcaro. The case involves investigations into alleged irregularities in the release of assets blocked by court orders.

The messages analyzed by ICL Notícias reveal the relationship between the deputy and the banker, who is at the center of an investigation into alleged fraud in the release of assets. Ferreira denies having received any amount from Vorcaro.
