Banco BPI is leaving Angola. The Portuguese bank announced the sale of its stake in the Angolan Banco de Fomento de Angola to the Carrinho group.
The sale was agreed between Banco BPI and Congolian Financial, through which the latter acquires 5,002,500 shares representing 33.35% of BFA's capital.
The statement was sent to the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários, which regulates the financial markets in Portugal.
