Creditors rejected on Thursday the new recovery plan presented for Boavista SAD, thus rejecting a final attempt to avoid the club's bankruptcy. This vote marks the failure of negotiations to restructure the sports company's debt.

Following the rejection of the recovery plan, creditors voted in favor of Boavista SAD's liquidation. This decision means the club will proceed with the legal dissolution process, with the sale of its assets to pay outstanding commitments.

The Bessa emblem is thus left without any solution in sight, facing an uncertain future. Boavista's fans and players find themselves in a delicate situation, with the club facing the prospect of disappearing or having to start from scratch in lower divisions.
