The Loures City Hall will distribute 20 thousand bracelets that allow the detection of certain substances used in the adulteration of drinks, namely the so-called "rape drug". The municipality of the Lisbon district made the announcement today.
The bracelets are intended to identify drinks that may have been adulterated with substances used in sexual assault contexts. The objective of the city council is to provide greater security to citizens, especially in nightlife contexts. This measure comes as a form of prevention and protection against this type of crime.
