The contemporary dance show "Fuga Para o Tempo Presente – O Leve Poder Da Lua Apenas Queima Os Olhos" (Escape to the Present Time – The Light Power of the Moon Only Burns the Eyes) will be presented at Teatro Municipal Sá de Miranda on September 12, at 7 PM. The piece is signed by Joana de von Mayer and Hugo Calhim Cristóvão.

The show combines Dance and Philosophy, exploring gestures that escape, that fail, and that exist in the moment when meaning is born. The presentation addresses what is in constant disappearance, what burns in the absence of permanence, and what remains precisely because it disappears.

The project is inspired by Fernando Pessoa's work, specifically "O Oriente ao Oriente do Oriente," which conveys the idea of metamorphosis, where everything is endless and everything transforms continuously.

This show has the support of the Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo and DGARTES.
