Died Luís Pedro Antunes, former councilor of Penacova Town Hall

Luís Pedro Barbosa Antunes, known as engineer Pedro Barbosa, died, the Penacova Municipal Council announced this Thursday. The former elected official was native to Penacova and leaves a significant legacy in the political and administrative life of the municipality.

Pedro Barbosa served on the Municipal Executive for three consecutive terms, between 2009 and 2021. Prior to that, he had already held the position of chief of staff in 2000, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to the local council.

Throughout his career, the deceased was also involved in party political activity, having dedicated much of his life to public service and the community of Penacova. The municipal council deeply regretted his death, acknowledging his contribution to the development of the municipality.
