Seven tons of biowaste collected in the Expofacic food area

Seven tons of biowaste were collected in the Expofacic food area. The awareness-raising and training actions carried out by INOVA-EM with the operators of the tasquinhas and other gastronomic spaces at the event paid off. Over the 11 days of the event, 6,920 kg of biowaste were collected and forwarded for recovery. The organic waste produced by associations, parish councils and restaurants throughout the days was collected for this purpose.
