The montado ecosystem in the Odemira region once again inspired the fourth edition of the comic book project "Stories in the Shade of the Montado." This publication celebrates the cork oak and the Alentejo landscape, bringing together writers and artists in a tribute to the unique environment of this region.
The project already has four editions, demonstrating the ongoing commitment to enhancing the natural heritage of the Alentejo. Each edition brings together different creative voices that find inspiration in the montado for their works.
The initiative aims to promote environmental awareness through the art of comics, using the cork oak and the characteristic Alentejo landscape as central themes in the stories presented in this publication.
