The Image Museum in Braga reopened to the public after seven years closed. The reopening marks the end of a rehabilitation intervention that had been underway since 2019, with an investment exceeding 500 thousand euros.
The institution welcomed visitors again with an exhibition dedicated to photography, coinciding with the date of its reopening. This inaugural exhibition represents a new chapter for the museum.
The museum, dedicated to image and visual arts, is located in Braga, one of the main cities in northern Portugal. Its prolonged closure represented a significant loss for the cultural circuit of the region.
