Jornal Santa Marinha3 September 2026 at 17:14

An editorial and heartfelt initiative is underway to celebrate the life and impact of Natália Novais through a Tribute Book that aims to bring together memories, testimonies, chronicles, prose and poetry. The work is coordinated by José Manuel Conde, Jorge Manuel Ramos and Isaías Marinho, with the purpose of "immortalizing a legacy that deserves to be recorded forever," the organizers say. Participation is open to friends, family, listeners, colleagues and admirers.

Interested parties can contribute texts in lyrical genres, prose, essays, stories or personal testimonies, on any theme. According to the regulations, each author may participate with up to 4 poems, and the combined text and photograph should not exceed 28 lines of verse or 4 pages in A5 format. Participants are encouraged to send photographs featuring Natália Novais, properly identified with captions. The use of a pseudonym for publication is permitted, although real identification is required for index purposes. Participation is free of charge and does not require the purchase of copies.

The deadline for submission of works and photographic records is October 30, 2026. Texts should preferably be sent in Word format to the email addresses [email protected] or [email protected] (Portugal and General) and [email protected] (Brazil). The order of insertion of texts in the work will strictly follow the order of arrival of contributions.

The official presentation and book launch ceremony is scheduled for December 2026, at a location and date to be announced by the organizers after the completion of the text collection phase.
