The Tunisian international Yassine, 26 years old and 2.04 meters tall, will continue to represent Vitória SC in the new volleyball season. The player, who was one of the standout figures of the National Volleyball Championship in 2025/26, decided to renew his contract with the Minho club after a season of affirmation in Guimarães.
Yassine finished last season as the second highest scorer of the main Portuguese competition, with a total of 586 points scored throughout the championship. This exceptional performance allowed him to establish himself as one of the references of the Vitória team and draw attention in the national volleyball scene.
The player admitted that the decision to continue at Vitória SC was natural and highlighted the strong connection created with the club and the city of Guimarães. In statements to the media, Yassine expressed satisfaction at being able to represent again a club he considers so great, stating that the feeling of wearing the Vitória jersey is unique.
Looking ahead to the new season, the Tunisian athlete guarantees ambition and willingness to continue developing. Yassine expressed the desire to maintain the level shown in the previous season and to do "more and better," acknowledging that there is still much to achieve in service of Vitória SC.
