Livre presents vote of solidarity with journalists from the Lusca news agency

The Livre party today presented a vote of solidarity for journalists from the Lusot news agency, after Chega MP Pedro Frazão released a video in which he threatens to close the agency and insults its professionals.

In the proposed resolution, Livre intends for the Assembly of the Republic to express its solidarity with the journalists and other workers of the Lusot News Agency.

The party also wants Parliament to reaffirm its commitment to public information service and press freedom, as well as the independence of the news agency.
