The Ukrainian children and young people watched the game equipped with sports gear, in an initiative that highlighted the presence of the two Ukrainian players at the Lisbon club.
Benfica won against Estoril in this match, providing the young guests with a memorable experience at the iconic Estádio da Luz. The two Ukrainian internationals, who are important players in the eleven coached by Bruno Lage, wanted to share this special moment with young people from their country of origin.
The solidarity action allowed the Ukrainian children and young people to closely follow the performance of their compatriots at Benfica. Trubin and Sudakov, both with relevant roles in the team, thus demonstrated their commitment beyond the pitch, establishing a connection with the Ukrainian community in Portugal.
