El Periódico Mediterráneo - General3 September 2026 at 14:54

The president of Acciona, José Manuel Entrecanales, was summoned to testify this Friday as a suspect in an investigating court in Pamplona. The appearance is due to his failure to appear on two occasions before the investigation committee of the Parliament of Navarra.

The investigation committee of the regional parliament is examining the public works tenders and contract awards of the Government of Navarra. José Manuel Entrecanales did not appear on either of the two occasions he was requested by the committee.

The company Acciona, one of the largest construction and services groups in the country, is related to public contracts of the regional government of Navarra. The president of the company will now have to testify before the courts about the reasons for his absence.
