Road and pedestrian traffic was interrupted this afternoon, on September 3rd, on Rua Conde Carvalhal, in Funchal, for preventive cleaning work. The intervention used the rock cutters from the Regional Directorate of Roads.
The interruption was scheduled in an edict from the Funchal City Council, published on August 28th. The road closure took place between 9 AM and 6 PM, affecting a section between Caminho da Igreja, in São Gonçalo, and Rua do Chão da Loba, near the intersection with Rua Conde.
