Francisco Franco Secondary School will hold, on September 18th, the traditional welcome session for students entering the 10th grade, thus marking the start of the 2026/2027 academic year. The welcome event will take place at the school's Central Gymnasium and will include the introduction of class tutors to the new students, followed by a guided tour of the facilities.
The school currently has approximately 680 new enrolled students, covering both scientific-humanistic courses and vocational courses. This number represents the total number of students who will join the 10th grade at the Madeiran institution.
The welcome session constitutes an important moment for the integration of students who are arriving at the school for the first time, allowing them to meet the people responsible for their classes and become familiar with the physical spaces of the educational establishment.
