Beatriz Cameirão is officially a Sporting reinforcement. The footballer rescinded, by mutual agreement, the professional contract that linked her to Benfica and moved to the Lions last week, with the transfer now confirmed to the other side of the Segunda Circular. The midfielder signed a contract valid for three seasons, remaining linked to Sporting until June 2029.
The number 6 leaves the Luz after six years serving Benfica. Throughout her time at the encarnada senior team, Cameirão made 139 appearances and won 11 trophies. The player's record includes four BPI Leagues, three League Cups, two Portuguese Cups, one Super Cup and one Second Division Championship, the latter won in the season she made her official debut for Benfica.
The midfielder also has 47 caps for Portugal's youth national teams. With this transfer, Cameirão closes a six-year chapter at Benfica and begins a new phase of her career at Sporting, now joining the leonino side.
