The new Évora Bypass has already come into operation, representing an infrastructure considered decisive for local mobility and for all the economic and road dynamics of the Alentejo region.
At the inauguration ceremony of the road, the Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Hugo Espírito Santo, emphasized that the project transcends municipal boundaries, assuming a strategic role at the national level.
At the urban level, the immediate impact is expected to be felt in the substantial relief of road traffic in the center of Évora, with the removal of trucks and other heavy vehicles from the city's streets.
The vice-mayor of the municipality of Évora was also present on the occasion, demonstrating the support of local authorities for this infrastructure intervention.
